Concentrative meditation will focus your attention on your breath. As
you focus on your breath, sound or image you narrow your focus, and as
there is a mind body connection your body will respond.
To be fearful you must think fearful thoughts, so if you limit your
focus to your breath the mind clears, the body relaxes and you allow
for greater awareness and clarity. Mindfulness meditation can be described as you becoming an observer of
your own thoughts. Imagine sitting behind your own eyes, looking out
and being aware of all your thoughts, but not interacting or focusing
on them.
